A 1-year-old Amish girl trampled by a horse and rushed to Albany Medical Center on Sunday night will recover, according to state police in Fonda. Just before 6 p.m. Sunday, an Amish family was at work in their barn along McKinley Road in the agricultural town of Palatine.
