The National Weather Service's winter storm warning for the region will remain in effect until 10 this morning.

For today, the weather service says this morning should be mostly cloudy, with periods of snow this morning. Snow accumulations will be about one inch. Expect a lot of snow to be blowing about, however, with lots of wind and gusts of up to 30 mph expected.

It will be cloudy tonight, but there is another chance of snow after midnight tonight and into Saturday. The weather service expects about an inch to fall, mainly in the afternoon.
