St. Colman's Home staffer accused of assaulting resident

An Albany man who works at St. Colman’s Home has been accused of assaulting an adolescent in his care. The New York State Justice Center for the Protection of People with Special Needs said Erik Cargile, 28, grabbed, punched, slapped and twisted the arm of a 14-year-old resident of the facility, which is certified by the state Office of Children and Family Services.
