As the snow piles up, more municipalities are declaring snow emergencies, and other are automatically going into effect because the storm has hit 3 inches. During the emergency, you’ll have to be careful where you park or you’ll get towed. The most recent announcements are: The village of Scotia has banned parking on the roads from 4 p.m. today through noon Friday. In Schenectady, officials are not declaring a snow emergency, as is their tradition. ...
