Alleged Saratoga County copper thieves arrested, arraigned

Two Saratoga County men face felonies in a series of copper wire thefts around the Capital Region and southern Vermont, state police said today. The men are also accused of taking chain saws and other tools. Their targets, police said, included area Tractor Supply stores. Ronald G. Morelli Jr., 33, of Stillwater, and Justin E. Furgason, 33, of Ballston Spa, each currently face one count of fourth-degree grand larceny, a felony. Other charges are expected. ...
