Snow on its way, beginning at midnight tonight

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for the region from midnight tonight to 6 p.m. Wednesday.

Snow is expected to begin falling after midnight, with snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches.

Snow will be heavy at times Wednesday morning, with additional snow accumulation of 5 to 10 inches. The highs will be in the upper 20s and the chance of snow is near 100 percent.
