After joyride ends in a snowbank, man charged with grand larceny

An Ephratah man is facing grand larceny charges for allegedly stealing a car from a pizza delivery guy and crashing into a snowbank Friday night. According to information released by the Johnstown Police Department, shortly before 10 p.m. Friday, 25-year-old John Defrancis stole a blue Subaru Impreza from 2 Cady St. in the city, drove it for 20 minutes, and put it in a snowbank less than a mile away.
