UAlbany Women vs. Vermont: Craig pours in 22 as Danes win

Pick your poison with the University at Albany women’s basketball team. If opponents decide to double-team conference scoring and rebounding leader Shereesha Richards, there are plenty of other Great Danes who can make them pay. Although Richards wasn’t as effective as she was the first time the teams played, when she poured in a school-record 41 points, she got plenty of help this time. Megan Craig, UAlbany’s 6-foot-9 junior center, produced 22 points, six rebounds and two blocked shots to lead three double-digit scorers, as the Danes stopped the Catamounts, 69-52, in the front end of the annual Big Purple Grown Saturday at SEFCU Arena....
