Schenectady man charged in brick assault

A man wanted in a May brick assault that allegedly began over a misunderstanding was arrested this week, authorities said. Brian D. Sweeney, 38, of South Ferry Street, was arrested Wednesday and charged with one count of first-degree assault, a felony. He is the second person charged in a May 3 attack on Barrett Street.
