Schoharie County residents recover from flash floods

Thursday night’s flash floods closed several roads and flooded basements in the town of Sharon and the village of Sharon Springs in northwestern Schoharie County. The county Emergency Operations Center is open and Red Cross workers are available to assist residents, according to a news release from the Schoharie County Sheriff’s Office.
