Maybe Templeton didn't die in vain. The death of the 8-year-old terrier in June has resulted in several positive changes in the city ever since Templeton was fatally attacked by two larger dogs while on a walk with his owner on a downtown Schenectady street. Again, great to see the Gazette Editor on board with Councilman Riggi's proposals that he has made since the beginning of these events that have brought us into the light for change. There is progress when there is tragedy and their is light shined on these issues when the press is active in bringing out the concerns resulting in action and change.
