The former Wellington Hotel Annex, a closed 11-story building on Howard Street, is slated for implosion to make way for construction of a $66.5 million convention center. Does anyone else think that the Corning Tower Observation Deck, which is usually closed on the weekends and has a great view of the hotel (as demonstrated in this April photo - http://alloveralbany.com/archive/2014/04... ), should be opened for the implosion?
