Schenectady man faces assault charge

A city man stabbed another person in the arm earlier this month, authorities said. Jason M. Regels, 40, of Edison Avenue, faces one count of second-degree assault, a felony. Regels is accused of using a steak knife to stab the victim in the right arm Aug. 10 at his residence. The victim was treated at Ellis Hospital. Regels was arrested shortly afterward.
