Rain, but no flash floods, in store for Capital Region

— A flash flood watch for the Capital Region has been lifted.

The National Weather Service reports that showers and possible thunderstorms will persist throughout the day, but there is no potential for widespread heavy rainfall and flash flooding.

The watch area included Schenectady, Saratoga, Montgomery, Schoharie and Albany counties.
