Mechanicville unveils public boathouse as added attraction

City officials unveiled a new public boathouse and improvements on Terminal Street last week, in an effort to champion the city’s waterfront to boat traffic on the Hudson River. The project was funded by a $234,364 Environmental Protection Fund grant awarded by the state Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation, along with city and private donations.
