The Democrats’ leader is back from the Adirondacks and already burning up the phone lines to find a replacement for former City Councilman Carl Erikson. Erikson resigned last Monday night, with an announcement that took his colleagues by surprise. Must do something to balance out Special Ed and Type A Lady, so it is heartening to hear synapses and higher neuronal connections at least talked about over demographics. I hope one of his options has the patience and dedication to accept. I hope enough of us have the synapses and neuronal connections to get them elected.

This article neglected to mention the most important qualification for a potential democrat party candidate: The ability to keep his ideas to himself, and do only what he is told.

It is, but given that the Dems control the whole board (save one seat), it's more relevant to the Dems in this discussion.
