Schenectady man arrested for allegedly dealing cocaine

Multiple drug charges have been filed against a Schenectady man for allegedly possessing and selling cocaine in January and April, authorities said. Omar L. Ruiz, 24, of Albany Street, faces multiple counts of third-degree criminal possession and sale of a controlled substance, felonies. Ruiz is accused of selling crack cocaine Jan. 8, Jan. 15, and April 22 in Schenectady, according to papers filed in court.
