Police: Troy man charged after grabbing woman’s buttocks
BRUNSWICK A Troy man has been arrested after he allegedly grabbed a woman’s buttocks at the Walmart in Brunswick.
Mario Guerrero, 40, was charged Saturday with third-degree sexual abuse and second-degree harassment, State police in Brunswick said.
The charges followed an investigation into an April 22 incident at the Hoosick Road Walmart, police said. Loss prevention officers from Walmart, Price Chopper and the Rensselear County Sheriff’s Department assisted in the investigation.
Price Chopper loss prevention officers spotted Guerrero in the store Saturday and notified state police, who took him into custody. A Troy police officer assisted with a language barrier, police said.
Guerrero was arraigned in Brunswick Town Court and released with an order of protection barring him from having contact with the victim. He will return to court at a later date.
