Shenendehowa continued its penchant for playing close, high-scoring games Monday, taking a 7-0 lead and holding on to edge Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake, 8-7, in a Suburban Council game. Brook Zeller staked the 5-1, 7-1 Lady Plainsmen to a 4-0 lead with a third-inning grand slam, then scored what proved to be the winning run in the seventh on a Nicole McCarvill single.
