Two more accused of gang assault in Saratoga Springs beating
SARATOGA SPRINGS Saratoga Springs police arrested two additional men on gang assault charges after they allegedly helped pummel a man on the corner of Putnam and Caroline streets early April 13.
Adam L. Carpenter, 23, of Saratoga Springs and Aaron D. Freedman, 25, of Greenfield both were arrested on warrants, then arraigned on a felony count of second-degree gang assault and a misdemeanor count of resisting arrest.
Carpenter was arrested at the police station Saturday. Freedman was arrested at his residence Thursday.
Jeffrey Carpenter, 25, Adam Carpenter’s older brother, was charged soon after the attack with felony gang assault in addition to misdemeanor charges of resisting arrest and obstructing governmental administration.
