Two Schenectady residents killed in car crash

Two Schenectady residents were killed Friday afternoon when the car they were in slammed into a tree at a high rate of speed, state police said. Killed were 30-year-old Mervyn Albert and his mother, 56-year-old Angeli Persaud. The accident happened on Burgoyne Road in the town of Saratoga. State police identified Albert as the driver.
