Gloversville felon charged with possessing a rifle

A Gloversville man was sentenced this week to more than five years in state prison for illegally possessing a gun as a felon, authorities said. Angel Burgos, 41, formerly of S. Judson Street in Gloversville, was sentenced in U.S. District Court Monday by Judge Thomas J. McAvoy to a total of five years, seven months in prison.
