Local educator named Waterford-Halfmoon superintendent

Patrick Pomerville, an elementary school principal in Queensbury, will be appointed the new superintendent of the Waterford-Halfmoon school district, officials announced Friday. Pomerville, of Halfmoon, will replace Timothy Lange, who will be retiring this year. The Board of Education is expected to appoint him at a salary of $140,000 annually at its April 24 meeting.
