Capital Region Scrapbook loves holidays.

In December, the newspaper traditionally encores photos of children with presents and dreidels for the Christmas and Hanukkah seasons.

In July, fireworks and parades are often subjects for the fourth day of the month.

For April — sometimes March — the Easter season receives extra attention.

Some of our favorite spring pictures feature young people on the lookout for hidden Easter eggs — and in churches for Easter prayers and hymns.

This year’s Easter Week started Sunday in Christian churches with Palm Sunday services — the photos on this page recall past celebrations.
