Schenectady woman allegedly cut her daughter

A city mother faces an assault charge for allegedly cutting her daughter, authorities said. Alexis K. Davis-Gooden, 28, of Victory Avenue, faces one count of second-degree assault, a felony, and endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor. She was charged Tuesday.
