Canajoharie man pleads guilty of armed bank robbery

A Canajoharie man faces up to 25 years in state prison after pleading guilty to robbing a bank in Slingerlands, District Attorney P. David Soares announced Thursday. Victor Shear, 45, is accused of entered a bank on New Scotland Road in Slingerlands Aug. 21, 2013, and demanding money while brandishing a gun. After taking the money from a teller, he fled the bank.
