Scotia's Kastberg must try harder to share with Glenville I think Scotia Mayor Kris Kastberg was unfair to Governor Cuomo in his April 6 Viewpoint, “Stranglehold.” The unfairness is inherent, in that the good mayor is thinking as a village mayor, while the governor has to think of what is in the best interest of the entire state. I would normally agree with what Robert said about too much duplication of services, however, if the only dog park was in Glenville and you lived in Scotia as an example, then the cost in gas alone to travel back & forth to walk your dog would likely well exceed any increase in tax you'd pay for operating two parks. The area in Glenville mentioned would require most people to drive there to use it as well. I bet its just loaded with ticks too as I see deer wandering around in it almost every day.
