Big Tobacco must stop preying upon nation’s poor I was happy to see the Daily Gazette’s March 28 editorial highlighting the need to reduce tobacco use in low-income populations. As the editorial stated, the heavy burden of tobacco-related illnesses often falls on those least able to bear it. While we’ve made great strides in reducing tobacco use among some populations, others remain woefully under-served. Let’s use the “loosie” ban in Schenectady as a starting point ...
