The board needs to invest funds to train Ms. Nechaman in history and public relations. If quoted correctly, her comments about athletics reflect an elitist denial of the broad positive impacts a district's athletic program has on kids, the district, and its communities. Even in the toughest of times, her statements are shamefully narrow minded.

Why are we spending, voter approved, 70 Million dollars if everything is being cut?? This money comes out of NYS money which is funded by taxpayers - not free.
