Schenectady man accused of break-in, assault on woman
SCHENECTADY A city man faces felony charges in connection with a break-in and attack on a woman last week, authorities said.
Cory D. Spencer, 18, of 818 Lincoln Ave., was arrested March 26 and charged with second-degree burglary and second-degree robbery, both felonies, as well as multiple misdemeanors.
He is accused of breaking into the residence of a woman with whom he had a child and attacking her, according to papers filed in court. He is accused of hitting her with a closed fist, causing cuts and swelling. He is also accused of taking her cellphone, according to papers.
