Man allegedly had heroin in Schenectady

A Gansevort man stands accused of possessing heroin downtown Thursday, authorities said. Adam Larkin, 32, faces one count each of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony, and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor. He is accused of possessing 108 small envelopes of heroin, each marked “champion,” on State Street near Broadway on Thursday afternoon. He is accused of intending to sell the drugs, according to papers filed in court.
