The city’s hazmat crew cleaned up a significant oil spill Tuesday on Interstate 890. About 50 gallons of oil covered a quarter-mile of the highway, just west of Exit 4C, near Schenectady County Community College, Deputy Fire Chief Kurt Gerfin said. “It’s a lot,” he said of the spill.
