— Firefighters rescued a Scotia woman who got stuck in a tree while skydiving Monday.

Cristy A. DeLacey of Scotia was parachuting with Saratoga Skydive on Monday evening when an unexpected wind gust sent her off-course and she fell into a tree on the same road her plane had taken off from, Saratoga County sheriff’s deputies said.

She was entangled and couldn’t get out on her own, although she wasn’t injured.

The Gansevoort Fire Department freed her.
