Man faces felony in alleged gun firing
SHARON A Sharon man accused of firing a gun inside a home during an argument is facing felony charges, according to the Schoharie County Sheriff’s Department.
Philip Loupin, age not provided, was charged with first-degree reckless endangerment, a felony, and two counts of second-degree menacing, a misdemeanor.
Police during the investigation also charged Loupin and Samantha Burkart, age not provided, of Sharon, with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
Loupin was arraigned and jailed in lieu of $20,000 cash bail; Burkart was arraigned and released on appearance tickets, deputies said.
