The 28th Farm Aid concert came to upstate New York on Saturday, packing more than 25,000 people into the Saratoga Performing Arts Center. These artists do noble work for our real agricultural brothers and sisters. But lets look a little deeper at the hypocrisy of these artists, mainly Bruce "The Boss" Springsteen, John Bon Jovi and John "Cougar" Mellencamp. These well known recording artistic legends own large plots of land in their respective states of New Jersey and Indiana. These well known hypocrites have their lands listed as "Agricultural" on their tax forms to both State and Federal Tax Agencies which allows them to pay virtually nothing in Federal and State income taxes and also allows them to collect Federal and State subsidies for their farm properties. Oh, and one more thing is that these three hypocrites say a majority of American's who own small businesses that employ about 60% of whats left of the work force in this country are not paying enough in income taxes.
