A rifle-wielding Clifton Park man shot by state police last month had two unregistered handguns in his possession, according to an indictment returned by a Saratoga County grand jury today. Douglas D. Stewart III, 43, was indicted on the felony charge of menacing a police officer, a charge that carries a prison term of up to seven years.
