Don Schermerhorn defends use of motors, asking us questions like: "Has she forgotten the son who lost his legs in Vietnam, the 97-year-old father with congestive heart failure?"
When will we stop pretending that life is equal or even fair for all? My knee hurts, why don't the (few existing) fire towers have an elevator for me? No, I don't really expect it; I just realize that I have some LIMITATIONS in my life that I must deal with. I'm a realist. Political correctness be darned, life ain't fair.
