It took a losing lottery ticket for Amy Rhoades to get her winning ticket. The 50-year-old Ballston Lake resident was driving home on Aug. 24, which was the day of the Powerball drawing, when she decided to stop at a Malta Stewart's Shop to check on an old lottery ticket, according to a news release. The ticket wasn't a winner, but Rhoades decded to use the $3 left in her pocket to test her luck ...
