Union College President Stephen Ainlay is taking six months to rest, recharge and work out the details of the college’s next strategic plan. How much energy is used shaking hands, recalling insipid narcissistic bits of trivia which happened before you were ever there, and then opening envelopes. He didn't even have to open the envelopes. If you could report he was using his sabbatical to develop a Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics curriculum for Schenectady City School District, I'd stop carping.
