Going to war with Syria would be wrong, legally and practically

Text Size: A | A

Going to war with Syria would be wrong, legally and practically Even if the U.S. Congress authorizes President Obama to attack Syria, the war would be a violation of the U.N. Charter, to which the United States is a signatory, and thus, illegal. Launching yet another war without Security Council approval would recertify the U.S. government’s disrespect for the rule of law. Because the U.S. government lied 10 years ago about Iraq’s alleged weapons of ...

And how much would they have had to spend for lunch, and even breakfast over the course of a school year?
/
Those meals are all free now.
/
Seriously, Shush. Quit while you're ahead.
/
No member of my family has ever attended a public school, and no, we're not rich, yet we'll be paying for you and yours for our entire lives.
/
Your shopping list is questionable.
Why would anyone need 14 glue sticks?
/
GOD FORBID you should have to shell out a whole $100 for the education, and FEEDING of THREE children of a YEAR!
That's roughly $33. per year, per child.

I'm willing to bet that you are one of those people that claims to hate socialism, and at the same time complain that you aren't getting enough free stuff.

Tom Ellis, how can you lie? It was the U.N. weapons inspectors, the security council, every major intelligence agency AND Saddam himself who said he had WMDs. It was both houses of Congress that sent us into Iraq along with MY son. So stop with the lies, some of us are not idiots. I do agree with most of the rest of your letter though but it was overshadowed by the lies in the beginning.

I believe Tom Ellis is correct with the info he has provided. I recall a local UN weapons inspector named Mr. Ritter during that time clearly stated publically that there were NO WMD in Irag to be found. I would only add that going to war, above all is simply IMMORAL. US War = Terrorism on a Bigger Budget .

I would not believe Scott "the molester" Ritter if I saw him sitting on a block of ice and he told me his butt was cold. Again tonijean, you are wrong.

Tom how long are you liberals going to play the "Bush lied" BS? Are you so absolutely inane that you cant grasp it was Hussein who said he had WMDs. The world intelligence community agreed he did and that is what the decisions were based on. You guys are just never ending talking points. The DMC tells you what to repeat and he just keep doing it. If you want an actual lie, listen to Obama talking.
