Canajoharie man accused in Slingerlands bank robbery

A Montgomery County man accused of an armed holdup at a TrustCo bank in Slingerlands last month was arraigned on a felony indictment charge on Monday, according to a release from the office of Albany County District Attorney P. David Soares. Victor Shear, 45, of Canajoharie, is charged with first-degree robbery and accused of displaying a gun at the TrustCo bank on New Scotland Road in the town of Slingerlands on Aug. 21.
