Area colleges: Union men's soccer team routs MCLA

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Carl Faber recorded a hat trick to lift the Union College men’s soccer team to a 6-0 victory over host Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts in the opening game of the CIAO Classic Saturday at Shewcraft Field.

James Skelton tacked on two goals, and Kevin Janson added another for the 3-0 Dutchmen, who take on Castleton State today at noon. Dean Constant was credited with three assists, and Ryan Carter made two saves in the Union goal.
