Sexual assault reported on Siena College campus
LOUDONVILLE Siena College officials are investigating a sexual assault on campus.
The college said in an email to students and faculty that the incident was reported Thursday. While they investigate, they reminded students to walk with a buddy, avoid drugs and alcohol and scream “Fire!” rather than “Rape!” to get help if they are attacked.
They also directed students to a Siena web page that defines sexual violence, harassment, relationship abuse and stalking, and emphasizes that they are all against the law and a violation of the college’s code of conduct.
In a statement, college spokesman Kenneth Jubie said: “Siena’s priority is to ensure the safety and well-being of all its students.”
