Schenectady man faces weapons charges in Albany
ALBANY A Schenectady man who was arrested after a fight at an Albany bar is now facing weapons charges.
Albany police responded to the Elbo Room on Delaware Avenue around 3 a.m. today for a report of a fight. At the scene, they were informed that a man had a handgun.
Joel Hart, 29, was stopped by officers and found in possession of a loaded .9mm handgun, police said.
He was charged with two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, one count of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon and one count of second-degree criminal contempt.
Hart was arraigned in the Albany City Criminal Court and sent to Albany County Jail.
