Incoming Schenectady assessor discusses council questions and concerns

The man who will be Schenectady’s next assessor has lived in the city since 1990, he said Wednesday after the City Council held a contentious debate over how much to pay him. Edward Waterfield is currently the supervisor of the city Bureau of Receipts, where residents pay their taxes.
