— Police are looking for three men who they say robbed the Rossbach Shoe Store at gunpoint Saturday afternoon.

Police said the three men walked into the store about 3:30 p.m. and pretended to be interested in purchasing sneakers. After a short time, one man closed the door to the store and another displayed a gun, according to police.

The men stole items from a safe and several pairs of Air Jordan sneakers, police said, before fleeing on foot west on West Fulton Street, then north on Bleecker Street. They got into a parked four-door compact car on Bleecker Street and drive north on Elm Street, according to police.

Based on witness accounts, police believe all three suspects are either Hispanic or light-skinned black men. One suspect is between 5-foot-7and 5-foot-10, with a large scar on a cheek and was possibly in his 30s. A second man is between 6-foot and 6-foot-2, possibly in his late 20s or early 30s and had a tattoo of numbers or letters in a line on his left forearm. A third suspect had a stocky build, is between 5-foot-5 and 5-foot-8 and was wearing a red shirt and red hat.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call Gloversville police at 773-4503.
