Lane reductions Saturday on Western Gateway Bridge

The Western Gateway Bridge between Schenectady and Scotia will be reduced to one alternating lane of traffic Saturday as part of the ongoing rehabilitation of the bridge. Crews will be pouring concrete for the new bridge deck, forcing vehicles to be stopped at one end of the bridge or the other as alternating traffic is allowed through, according to a state Department of Transportation advisory.
