Shannon Mukerji of Shaker, the defending champion, and Claire Schmitz of Emma Willard will meet in the Section II tennis individual finals at Sportime at 2 p.m today.

Mukerji defeated Mia DeCaprio of Albany Academy, 6-3, 6-0, in one semifinal Monday, and Schmitz turned back Annie Phillips, 7-5, 6-1, in the other semi.

The Mukerji-Schmitz match is a rematch of last year’s final, which Mukerji won, 6-4, 7-5.

The doubles championship will feature Fallon Etkin and Nadia Sug-uitan of Shenendehowa against Samantha Blond and Kailin Bacaele of Emma Willard.

Blond and Bacaele are in the championship match for the second straight year, after losing to Emma Willard teammates Keish-orea Armstrong and Miatali Das last season.
