Girls’ volleyball: Galway undefeated

Galway defeated Waterford-Halfmoon, 25-13, 25-21, 25-22, to remain undefeated at 16-0.

Emily Zawisa served for 13 points and had seven aces, four kills and five digs for Galway. Rachel Jones had eight points, seven kills and two blocks, and Adrianna Watrobski had nine assists.

Michaela Miller had six kills for Waterford (13-2).

Loudonville Christian defeated Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk, 25-17, 27-25, 23-25, 25-7, in a non-leaguer.

Kimberly Jeans served for 29 points and had five aces, 14 digs and 14 assists, Kasey Hannay had two aces, 17 kills, three blocks and 12 digs, and Brittany Provencher had 21 digs and six kills for LCS (14-2).

Notre Dame-Bishop Gibbons beat Saratoga Central Catholic, 25-18, 25-17, 25-23 with Emily Brown turning in 14 points, 23 assists and 10 digs. Sarah Del Vecchio had 11 kills, while Lauren Ferrucci, Paris Jarrell and Julie Nichols each had five kills.

For Saratoga Catholic, Emilie Browell had 11 points and two aces, and Anna Leone had 10 digs.
