Perazzo must recuse herself. She's PROCTOR'S special events coordinator. This is a blatant misuse of power and public trust.

Isn't the REAL purpose of meters supposed to be to insure turnover of parking spaces?
-
If so, keep the current rate, but LIMIT parking to one hour. Maybe 90 minutes, but no longer - even during paid-parking hours. That way, SHOPPERS needing a space to pick up an article, or lunch have a space, even those stopping to purchase tickets have a space -- but those "camping in for the evening" can be "herded" to a long-term facility.

JIMOCONNOR never passes on an opportunity to be obnoxious, make unfounded accusations and harass people, but I seem to be his favorite target. The Daily Gazette is apparently OK with harassment on its website. The Daily Gazette condones hate and harassment, unlike reputable newspapers.
